Baby weaning tracker and first foods diary
Tiny Tummies lets you log every food your baby tries, note whether they liked it, and tick any allergens it contains. It links to NHS weaning guidance and costs £2.49 once, with no subscription.
What can I record for each food?
- The food, typed or picked from Add again.
- Their reaction: Liked it, Unsure, or Not a fan.
- Which of the 14 UK allergens it contains.
- The time and any notes.
Tiny Tummies keeps a running count of foods tried, so you can see how far your baby has come.
Highlighted allergens are only a suggestion from the food name, so you tap to confirm.

What does the NHS say about starting solids?
NHS guidance
The NHS says to start introducing solid foods when your baby is around 6 months old, alongside breast milk or first infant formula. Read Your baby's first solid foods and the NHS weaning hub.
The NHS also has pages on foods and drinks to avoid.
NHS guidance last checked: 29 September 2026. Tiny Tummies is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NHS.
Tiny Tummies does not decide when your baby is ready. The NHS page explains the signs to look for.
Can I scan packets and jars?
Yes. In the food screen, scan a barcode or search by name. Tiny Tummies shows the product's salt, sugar, and additives, and ticks allergens from its label. You can also look a product up from Search, on any tab, without logging it.
The data comes from Open Food Facts, a free public database, so not every product is listed and some entries may be incomplete. Always check the packet. Only the barcode or the search text is sent, and nothing about you or your baby goes with it.
How do I keep track of allergens while weaning?
Every allergen has its own status, from not tried yet to tolerated, and you can note a reaction. See the baby allergen tracker page for how it works.

Does the scanner always get it right?
No. It uses Open Food Facts, a free public database, so some products are missing, incomplete, or out of date. Always check the packet, especially for allergens.
