Baby feeding tracker for breast and bottle feeds

Tiny Tummies is an iPhone app that logs every breast and bottle feed in a few taps, so you can see when the last feed was and which side is next. It costs £2.49 once, with no subscription and no ads.

How do I track breastfeeds?

Tap Breastfeed and a live timer runs while you feed, on the side that is next. When you finish, tap Finish and log and the feed is saved with the side and the time. Prefer to enter it afterwards? Add the minutes and change the time to when it actually happened.

  • Choose Left, Right, or Both.
  • Get a reminder of the last side: "Last feed was on the right, so left is next."
  • Changed sides halfway? Tap Switch, and the feed is saved as both sides.
  • Tick a box if your baby was sick during or after the feed.

How do I track bottle feeds?

Choose Bottle, add the amount and the time, and save. Bottle feeds work the same way whether the bottle holds formula or expressed milk. Add a note when something is worth remembering, like "fell asleep halfway".

Same again logs the last bottle again in one tap. Want a nudge? Choose a reminder 2, 3, or 4 hours after a feed when you log it.

Set your usual feed times in Settings and they appear on the Today tab as one-tap slots. Feed on demand? Leave the schedule empty and nothing changes.

What does the day look like at a glance?

The Today tab shows the last feed, nappy, and medicine at a glance, and adds up your milk in ml and the number of feeds, or the minutes at the breast, since your day started. Ticks show which of your usual feed times are done.

Can I log a feed with Siri?

Yes. With your hands full, just ask. There is nothing to set up, and it works once you have opened the app.

  • "Hey Siri, log a bottle in Tiny Tummies" logs the same as the last bottle.
  • "Hey Siri, start a feed in Tiny Tummies", then "finish the feed".
  • "Hey Siri, log a wet nappy in Tiny Tummies".
  • "Hey Siri, when was the last feed in Tiny Tummies?" Siri answers without opening the app.

Logging opens the app, so you can see the entry and undo it. Siri shortcuts need iOS 16 or later.

Can I track medicine too?

Yes. Tap Meds to record the medicine, the dose, and the time. For a one-off dose, like Calpol, Tiny Tummies notes when the next one is allowed. For a course, set the times and it reminds you for each dose and tracks which you have given.

It records what you enter and never checks or calculates doses. Follow the label, or ask a pharmacist, GP, or NHS 111.

What does the NHS say about how much milk a baby needs?

Tiny Tummies does not set targets for your baby. The NHS has guidance on feeding, and it is the place to start.

NHS guidance

Read Feeding your baby and Feeding your newborn baby on the NHS website.

NHS guidance last checked: 29 September 2026. Tiny Tummies is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NHS.

If you log your baby's weight, an optional milk guide can show a gentle, NHS-based range as a reassurance, never a target. You can switch it off in Settings.

Feeding tracker questions

Can I log a feed after it has happened?

Yes. Change the time to when it actually happened, and add the minutes or the amount. It is handy when you are writing it up after the feed rather than during.

Can I use it for breastfeeding and bottle feeding?

Yes. Choose Breast or Bottle each time you log a feed.

Can I track more than one baby?

Yes. Each child has their own records, and you switch between them at the top of the Today tab.
